Custom cursor

The mouse pointer becomes a dot with a trailing ring that grows over buttons. On phones, Replay plays a short scripted tour.

✕ Breaks rule: custom cursors It hides the real pointer, trails behind the hand, doesn't exist on phones (most local-business traffic), and confuses people with older eyes or trackpads. It also runs code on every mouse move.

Best for: Creative agencies, photographers and galleries on desktop.
How: gsap.quickTo on x / y (fast dot, slow ring), ring scales up over [data-cc-grow]; cursor:none only inside the box and only for a fine pointer.
Weight: 1.6 KB gzipped (our CSS + JS) + GSAP from jsDelivr: GSAP core 28.3 KB gzipped. Plugins: none (core only).
